A motorcycle tour to Western Ukraine is a fascinating journey through incredibly beautiful and picturesque places. We will cross the Carpathian mountains twice allowing us to fully see the richness and nature of this region. Mountains, rivers, waterfalls, ancient churches, monasteries, castles and unforgettable cities with unrivaled Ukrainian cuisine will allow you to immerse  into another dimension. In this region, the long-standing traditions of the Ukrainian people are best preserved. And you will remember the hospitality of local residents for a long time. 

       For this trip we will visit Mukacheve, Bukovel, Chernivtsi, Kamyanets-Podilsky, Khmelnitsky, Ternopol, Lviv and Uzhgorod. At least one highlight activity  is planned for each day. This tour is not about long daytime rides and rushing to the destination, but enjoying the journey. This program aims to alow you to relax on a motorcycle in good company while visiting the most colorful regions of Ukraine. 

       For your convenience, the tour begins and ends in Budapest. Our English speaking guides will be with you from the very beginning and will help in all matters along the way. During excursions in Kamyanets-Podilsky and Lviv, German or English speaking guides are available

Day 1
Arrival to Budapest

All motorcyclists will  meet at the hotel in Budapest and get to know each other and Guides introduction. All trip’s briefing: our routes, speed limits, detailed program, aspects  of Ukrainian culture and laws, etc will be covered

Dinner and rest. 

Day 2
Vienna – Mukachevo
590 km

We will start the trip early in the morning and go along the autobahns to the border of Ukraine. After crossing the border, we will not go far into the  city of Mukachevo, from there our adventure in Ukraine will begin. In the evening we are waiting for an unhurried walk through the city center and a wonderful dinner in a local restaurant for all our group. 

Day 3
Mukachevo – Bukovel
225 km

After a long first day on the  autobahns, we will have picturesque mountain roads, fresh air and boundless green forests in  the ancient Carpathian mountains. Along the way, we will stop for lunch at a place which, according to the international geodetic system, is considered the center of Europe. We will finish this day in one of the best resorts in Ukraine where there is a  full spa, lake and a restaurant. We will have a good rest and regain strength.

Day 4
Bukovel – Kamianets-Podilskyy
262 km

On this day we will leave the mountains and head towards central Ukraine. We will visit a beautiful university in the city of Chernivtsi where you will see “The Ukrainian Hogwarts”, which is included in the UNESCO heritage list, and in the evening we will go on a walking tour with a local guide through the fortress Kamyanets-Podilsky and into the  city center.

Day 5
Kamianets-Podilskyy – Ternopil
225 km

We will continue our trip to Western Ukraine. This day will be full of gastronomic pleasures. We will visit the city of Khmelnitsky. In the evening, a pleasant walk awaits in the center of Ternopil city  with a local guide.

Day 6
Ternopil – Lviv
160 km

After a good rest, we will ride to state level history memo Zolochivsky Castle. A local guide will meet us there and will follow us all day. After that, we will go on an excursion to the ancient active monastery in the territory of which is located the source of healing water. And after lunch we will arrive in the magical city of Lviv, a country of frozen myth and legends. There we will have a wonderful walk in the center and dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 7
Lviv – Uzhgorod
267 km

We will cross the Carpathian mountains again, but on the other side. After crossing over the mountains we will stop in the regional center of the Transcarpathian region – the city of Uzhgorod. Incredibly beautiful and cozy city built in a western style. Here is the longest linden alley in Europe located. In April you can see the blooming Japanese sakura. The local attractions also include the castle and mini-sculptures штсдгвштп figures of John Lord, Harry Houdini, Mozart and many others. In the evening, we will take a walk in the center and have dinner at one of the local restaurants.

Day 8
Uzhgorod – Budapest
600 km

Last day of our trip and returning to the starting point.. The finish line for  the whole group will be at the hotel in Vienna but already from this day, participants of our tour will be able to go home via their own route.
